The dosing events recorded in a MEMS® or MEMS® compatible package can be accessed using a MEMS® reader:
As soon as the recorded dosing events are read with a MEMS® reader they can be transferred to the MEMS® adherence software. Then the healthcare professional can eyeball the adherence behaviors using dedicated views of the recorded dosing history data. This information can then be used as direct feedback to the patient along with the handles to engage a focused discussion between the healthcare provider and the patient.
This data transmission can be done using a dedicated MEMS® USB NFC reader or any NFC-compatible phone or tablet.
With our technology, the patient remains always the actor of the transmission of his/her personal dosing history data.
These data is securely transferred and stored encrypted on AARDEX servers.
The MEMS® USB NFC (Near Field Communication) reader allows, at any time, the transfer of time-stamped medication events from the MEMS packages (MEMS® Cap , MEMS® EDP , MEMS® Button , MEMS® HH , MEMS® Compatibles smartpackages ) to a computer via its integrated USB port.
The MEMS® USB NFC reader is :
The MEMS® reader can be connected to a computer, a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone equipped with a USB port.
It’s possible to read the dosing events information directly with a NFC smartphone or tablet by using MEMS Mobile. The smartphone/tablet should be compatible with the MEMS Mobile software and featured with the NFC technology
