In-Trial Medication Management (I-TMM™) is a program specifically designed to efficiently manage patient adherence in clinical trials using MEMS™. I-TMM is done in conjunction with our web-based medication management program called medAmigo™.
Contrary to the common belief, sub-optimal patient adherence prevails as well in clinical trials as in routine care. When patient adherence to the test drug is not properly managed in clinical trials, the statistical power of the drug development program can be seriously undermined. As a consequence, the test drug's efficacy will be underestimated and can result in a false negative conclusion about the test drug.
