ABC Project, an EU-funded research initiative to improve patient adherence to medication in Europe has been launched on January 1, 2009. Pharmionic Systems, part of AARDEX Group, is one among the six prominent reseach centres in Europe, who will produce evidence-based policy recommendation for improving patient adherence, raising the effectiveness of medication use by Europeans. Project findings are expected to help health policy makers to take the right decisions in order to minimize the negative impact of suboptimal patient adherence to the prescribed treatment.
